This project was for Graphic Design Studio Practice class. We were given the task to come with a logo, branding, advertisements, a poster, and co-branded packaging for a fictitious music festival. We could choose one genre of music and then we were given an additional one at random. My two genres were French Pop and Reggae. First, we had to conduct research on the genres and their history. I found that both Reggae and French Pop were first started in the 1960s and had a lot of the music had an underlying tone of political statement and a battle for equity. Yet, many were playful and joyous, even youthful. With that I began my process and took inspiration from my research. Throughout this process I reiterated my ideas and had many critiques with peers as well as the professor and TA. All of this was extremely valuable in my final project. I compiled all of my work throughout this project into one festival deck.
